Where Heaven Meets Earth
For a couple of years I have been listening to James Block the musician. I enjoy his arrangements of lyrics that are nearly word for word scriptures. His website, Selah Worship Music About page description; “I’m originally from Canada but moved to Israel 10 years ago. After much time travelling the world and visiting many different countries, Israel was the one that gave me a sense of home. It was here that I met my Israeli wife, Liz, and we have been living in Jerusalem since we were married over 10 years ago.”
Recently I listened to one of his live home recordings called Come Together. After around 20 minutes he begins to talk about Gods people physically coming to Jerusalem. He explains that this is written in the scriptures and needs to be fulfilled. On the same day I went to listen to another favorite musical artist, Malkah Norwood. I noticed on her channel there is a video/film entitled Wicked! The theme of the film is testimonies of two young people who decide to “leave Babylon America” and move to the borders of Tziyon and keep Yahweh’s feasts in the wilderness. It recommends Americans to physically move out of the country and to areas around Israel. Clearly these teachings focus on a physical temple in Jerusalem where believers in Yahoshua Ha’Mashiach /Jesus the Messiah are encouraged to move to in order to benefit from the “New Jerusalem”. Is this sound teaching?
When we familiarize ourselves with all of scripture we can avoid being misled. Too often we “faithfully” rely on what sounds like the texts are saying in the point of view of “teachers”. Some who place themselves in positions of authority can be persuasive.
The bible shows that God chooses to encounter humans on earth by means of a temple arrangement. Did you know Eden was a type of temple? If this interests you watch this short clip Temple. I hope this helps you appreciate the point the temple is a place where heaven and earth overlap. In the covenant with Israel the conditions for God to dwell in the temple permanently was continually violated, therefore the nation was exiled. This condition repeats itself throughout the history of mankind. Today the world separated from Gods dwelling can still be considered Babylon. Thankfully since Jesus’ resurrection we can choose to live there or not. 3 Ways to Choose to Live in "Babylon"
It is apparent many in the world are confused on these matters. This is because spiritual leaders guide them down a crooked way. This brief, brave podcast truthbombs the heck out of a need for a forthcoming physical temple in the State of Israel. Does modern Israel play a role in End Times?
Since the time of His resurrection Jesus has all power in heaven and earth. Matt 28:18.
He reclaimed the nations from angels (lesser Elohim) who misused their authority over the nations.
Deuteronomy 32:8 The Most High God gave land to be the home of each nation. When he made people into separate groups, he decided where their borders should be. He did that to match the number of angels in heaven. EASY

Jesus fulfilled his role as High Priest to reunite heaven and earth when he ascended on high and sat down at the right hand of the Father. This opened the way for every believer to take their place as a son or daughter of God as we were created in Eden.
Hebrews 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
This was Gods plan all along. Heaven and earth united, ready to assemble and work beside Him as His image bearers on the earth. With the Holy Spirit within us we become kings and priests in the New Jerusalem. Revelation 1:5,6 Rev 3:12, Rev 21:2. On the earth as in heaven. (Matt 6:10)
I will forward this one to James Block and Malkah Norwood with prayers. We all stray at times, even true believers.
For further study, while working on this essay the Bible Project began recording a podcast series entitled The Mountain and created a brief outline of it’s content video this brings a lot of these points into focus. Bless all who ponder these matters!
