Rethink Christmas is Pagan
For many people celebrating Christmas is generally a family tradition. There is no need to dig deeper. Perhaps for you it is a religious custom, and again, why question this observance? Than there are those who have taken note of claims that specifically the date of Christmas has pagan origins. There is evidence that this date originated with early Christians than adopted by pagans. Personally I realized that some of my beliefs I adopted about these matters caused me to dishonor Jesus. I should have viewed the season as a joyful one instead of harping on the negative aspects some indulge in. It actually makes little sense to do so. Even if many in the world do not fully appreciate all the blessings from our God. They still understand what Christmas stands for and isn’t it wonderful that they do! Further the birth of Jesus is given special attention in scripture and we should meditate on the reality of that event, there is much to learn about it.
